A study from the Max Planck Institute for Demographic German couple in the Danish study showed that the greater the age difference, the lower the life expectancy of the wife.



Conversely, men dating much younger women will live longer than those who marry a woman's age.


It is not known exactly why the younger man is bad for life expectancy. This may be because the type of man who pulled a young woman tends to be more healthy and wealthy. Or because younger women tend to be more attention to older couples but not vice versa.
